Julie Madhusoodanan is Vice President of Engineering Quality at Hulu, where she leads the strategy and engineering teams to deliver high-quality and delightful experiences for Hulu subscribers.
Prior to joining Hulu, Madhusoodanan worked at Microsoft for nearly 20 years in groups such as Microsoft Office, Windows, Windows Services, and Azure in various engineering, product management, and technical management roles. Prior to her time at Microsoft, Madhusoodanan also served as a tech consultant at Ernst & Young.
Madhusoodanan holds a BS and MS in computer science from the BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore, and the University of Missouri—Rolla, respectively, and is enrolled in the EMBA program at the University of Washington. She grew up in India, where she learned both Carnatic music and more than five languages and represented her state in national tennis championships.
Madhusoodanan resides in Seattle, WA with her son, and is focused on learning more about spirituality and giving back to the community.
